Contents: documents and correspondence re the Yugoslav Society of Great Britain. It was the successor to the Serbian Society which had been formed in 1916 and fell into abeyance in 1920. The Yugoslav Society was formed in 1921 with RWSW as honorary secretary in order to dispel misconceptions about Yugoslavia, and a parallel organisation was set up in Belgrade to promote friendly relations between the two countries.

Contents: materials, reviews and letters of appreciation for this work by RWSW which investigated the assassination of the Austro-Hungarian Arch-Duke Francis Ferdinand and his wife in 1914. RWSW visited Yugoslavia in 1925 and talked to a number of people with knowledge of the background to the assassination and also studied Austrian archives. The result of his research was "Sarajevo, a study in the origins of the Great War" (London, 1926).
