Will of Maurice Ogston planter of Dominica proved 10/01/1843. He left 拢30 p.a. from the interest on 拢1500 to his father Thomas Ogston with 拢600 of the principal on the latter's death to his sisters Grace, Isabel and Wilhelmina in Scotland and his sister-in-law Mrs Ogston in Belfast, with the rest of his property to be sold to support his wife Amelia and children, who were to be sent at age 8 or 9 to Britain; when the eldest child was 21 his trustees were to buy an annuity of 拢60 p.a. for his wife Amelia and his remaining property be divided among his children.

Member of the Baillie of Dochfour family who had numerous mercantile connections in the West Indies. The compensation for Baillie's Bacolet in Grenada was awarded to the trustees of her marriage settlement. Grand-daughter of Colin Roy Campbell of Glenmure. Apparently a victim of the quack doctor John St John Lang of Harley Street in 1830.
