Awarded the compensation for four enslaved people in Barbados under one award to him alone, and for a further four enslaved people under another award also in Barbados with John H. Duke and Thomas Duke. To date nothing has been traced in Britain of William Henry Green or of [W?] Green of Woolwich Kent, the correspondent on Barbados no. 2547.

Member of the Baillie of Dochfour family who had numerous mercantile connections in the West Indies. The compensation for Baillie's Bacolet in Grenada was awarded to the trustees of her marriage settlement. Grand-daughter of Colin Roy Campbell of Glenmure. Apparently a victim of the quack doctor John St John Lang of Harley Street in 1830.

A cover note outlining the contents of the document.
