John Ryland, linen-merchant, Peregrine Stockdale woollen draper, Edward Player merchant, Archibald Robe merchant and William Watts cottan [sic] manufacturer all of Bristol were parties to a deed of 17/02/1804 whereby William Perry (q.v.) of Bristol conveyed his business assets in England, Jamaica, St Kitts and St Vincent to the five men as trustees for debts of 拢14,000 an upwards owed to the five men and to other creditors.
