Rev. Peard Jillard

Biography

Non-conformist clergyman. Rev. Peard Jillard of Bishops Hull was among a group of 16 annuitants created in 1775 when each purchased an annuity from Jacob Kladen (q.v.) secured on Kladen's St Vincent property, including named enslaved people, to raise 拢11,000. Millard purchased an annuity of 拢50 p.a. in common with almost all the other subscribers.

  1. Will of Rev. Peard Jillard clerk of Bishops Hull [made in 1798] proved 16/01/1800. He left 拢3000 in trust for his daughter Mary and the remainder of his estate to his son William Peard Jillard.
