Nathaniel Highmore

Biography

One of a group of 16 annuitants created in 1775 when each purchased an annuity from Jacob Kladen (q.v.) secured on Kladen's St Vincent property, including named enslaved people, to raise 拢11,000. Highmore purchased an annuity of 拢50 p.a. in common with almost all the other subscribers.

  1. Will of Nathaniel Highmore of New Court Coleman Street Buildings proved 13/03/1790. He left consols and monetary legacies totalling some 拢5000 and land at Mortlake to legatees named Highmore, presumably his nephews and nieces.
