Counterclaim by Joseph Bolton, of Pentonville, county of Middlesex, a butcher, and Jeremiah Underwood, of the City road, Middlesex, a butcher, as assignees of the estate and effects of Mary Ann Portless (an insolvent debtor). Mary Ann Portless abandoned her claim.
Times 02/10/1837: account of a subsequent case in the Insolvent Debtors Court, versus the solicitor who acted on the compensation. Mary Ann Portless was formerly of Claremont-rwo Pentonville and Dalby-terrace City Road, and late of 45 Brompton-row (London).
