T71/871: claim from Peter Hogg, as the executor of John Hogg. Counterclaim from a group of legatees under a will dated 18/01/1820 for 拢2650 (the group were natural children by housekeeper Margaret Campbell, see T71/1608 for a letter from Henry Pinckard with an extract of the will, 09/07/1836). The Assistant Commissioners concluded that the compensation money appears due to the counterclaimants to the extent of 拢2650. The counterclaim was then withdrawn.
